1 Ratcliffe College in Leicestershire has recorded an increase in its overall GCSE pass rate. Its mathematics department has attained a 100 per cent pass rate in both GCSE Mathematics and Further Mathematics.
2 Hazel Boadu-Antwi, a student at Our Lady’s Convent High School in north London who was diagnosed with leukaemia in 2016 and is now in remission, has gained 2 As, 1 B and 3 Cs at GCSE.
3 Michael Williams, a pupil at The Oratory School in Woodcote, South Oxfordshire, has earned 9 A* GCSE grades.
4 Max Lubowiecki, a student at St Benedict’s School in Ealing, west London, has achieved straight A* grades, with grade 9 in English and Maths.
